I used rubbing alcohol to get ink pen out of white uniforms. Had to put alcohol on cloth and rub the pen marks. Lots of work.

Watching the replay… Sharpies are alcohol-based. Rubbing alcohol, anti-bacterial hand gel, or hairspray should work. You need to soak the stains for a bit to break it down (and if spot treating, include a wide ring around the stain so you donât get a halo stain), and then wash (and additionally pretreating with a stain remover as you throw it in the wash doesnât hurt). The hand gel works good for spot treating because the gel slows down the drying a little. You want to keep it wet (with the alcohol) until you wash it. Check and repeat if necessary before putting in the dryer. Some colors come out better than others. Good luck!

It’s the alcohol in hairspray that works. Try straight alcohol with a q-tip and see how it goes.
