Part 1 – Grocery Bag Sewalong

Supplies

  • 1 ½ yards of printed 100% cotton fabric
  • 1 ½ yard of solid color cotton fabric
  • 1 ½ yard of Insul-Brite
  • 22” closed end zipper
  • 1 package ¼” folded bias tape
  • Sticky back tearaway or cutaway embroidery stabilizer
  • 8” by 16” fusible interfacing
  • Sewing thread
  • Embroidery thread – optional
  • #14 denim jeans needle

 

 

Part 2 – Grocery Bag Sewalong

Cutting Panels for Bag

  • After quilting – cut the main front pieces 12 1/2″ wide by 19″ tall
  • After quilting – cut the two side panels 9″ wide by 14″ tall
