I love love love this class and especially learning new features on my Brother Stellaire machine. There are so many sewing classes and projects available on the Internet but to combine a great project with tips and tricks on the machine is terrific. Thank you Angela!!
I’d love to see more projects like this that focus on hidden or forgot features on our Brother machines.
I’m very new to the group and I’m loving all I’m learning. Thank you Angela for focussing on so many Brother machine tips and tricks. Even though I’ve had my Stellaire for a couple years, there’s still so much I can learn.
Angela, this was a fabulous sew-along! Thank you for sharing both the video and your talent. If I could figure out how to upload photos, I would add photos of my bag!
I love this!!! Making the bag for Christmas gifts! Thanks for another awesome project!
I found a fish stitch!!!
Luminare XP 3, Under Character Decorative Stitches…… #8. 8-73
I also love to fish and I am using nautical fabric for my grocery bag!
Happy Stitching,
Thank you sooo much for the Sew Along! I am new at Embroidery and learning to use my Luminaire XP3 and SNC! Slowly be surely getting the hang of it!
Love the Step By Step instructions! I have tried other sew alongs but I get lost in the process but your Grocery Bag Sew Along is GREAT! Learning new skills every day!
Keep them coming because not everyone has the skills to fill in the blanks!
I have completed both sides, front and back panels. Now working on my pocket design!
Had several issues like needle breaking on the left upper hoop when stitching the basting stitch in the same place on the side panels. No reason for this to be happening! I did change the needle to a Denim needle after second break. Going to try another hoop it see if I can recreate the problem.
During my fill stitch out the embroidery foot kept hitting the hoop on the right side at the end of the stitch out. I verified I had the correct hoop selected!
When stitching my front panel I kept having places in my stitching that would advance 1/4, 1/2 inch and continue to stitch just fine. I finally figured out it was operator error! I did not have it installed the Muvit foot correctly! 👍 problem solves!
Please keep the SewAlongs coming! Love them so much!
Thank you!
Missed parts 3 and 4, but am now caught up and ready for part 6 tomorrow, 9/28.
Did I miss #6 sewalong for this? I thought I saw that the sew and tell was on tomorrow 9/28/23
Now I don’t see #6 for the bag – I am confused. I finished the bag and then I finished my long sweater – I want you to look at it and see if you have any ribbing to match. so I can fix the sleeves – they are too long and I ruched them – but I hate the cuffs.
Karen, it looks like part 6 is labeled “Part 5.” When you click on the second “Part 5” the video says Part 6. Hope this helps. 🙂
Luminaire character stitch #8 the butterfly the fish character is there. Hope you see it.
Loving the Grocery Bag Sew A Long. I really appreciate you showing how to do different techniques.
Thank you for the sew along. Please do more! People without embroidery machine can participate – important and of course people with embroidery machines too.
