325: Learn to Sew an Envelops Purse Clutch with Angel Wolf

Envelope Pattern

There are three download versions for the envelope pattern:

Full Layout – Use this for projector printing or printing on a plotter.

  ENVELOPE PURSE

Letter Size Printing – Use this when printing letter size paper (8.5″ x 11″).  Print pages 1-8, the last page is an overview of the pattern.

ENVELOPE PURSE LETTER PRINT

A4 Size Printing – Use the when printing on A4 size paper (17.7″ x 8.3″). Print pages 1-8, the last page is an overview of the pattern.

ENVELOPE PURSE A4 PRINT

 

Supplies:

Fabric Ideas ~ waxed canvas, leather, faux leather, cotton, suede, vinyl, 

  • Fabric: 22″ by 22″
  • Lining – Optional: 22″ by 22″
  • Standard Thread
  • Embroidery Thread – optional
  • 1 Snap – if you prefer over a buttonhole

Getting into summer and looking for stylish tops to wear with jeans, shorts, or skirts and one of my fist patterns always shows up … The Delila

Delila Pattern has 9 Options

 I designed this pattern to be able to sew many variations including short sleeve, three-quarter, or long with a cuff.  Slits or no slits and other embellishing ideas.  

In this sewalong I will be making the short sleeve version with slits.  What you will need:

The Delila pattern comes in size XXS to XL in PDF or paper pattern.

Do you find yourself sewing a lot of knits?  If so, you will eventually want to add a coverstitch machine to your sewing room.  Hemming knits has never been easier!

But the Coverstitch is not just for knits, you can also do a chainstitch which is great for finishing seams and decorative stitching.

Learn how to set up:

  • Narrow and Wide Coverstitch
  • 3-thread Coverstitch
  • Chainstitch

Next, you will learn how to hem knits, finishing hemming in the round and tying off your stitches.  Tips for decorating seams and fabric with the coverstitch.  Learn a quick and easy way to pull out your stitches and take extra care preventing them from chaining off.  

BONUS:  There will be an extra tutorial for using the double coverstitch  (not available on every machine).
